Guide Dog Services: (Royal Foundation for the Blind).
Phil and Sue have been puppy walkers for several years. Pictured is their second dog
'Ryder' at 10 weeks. He is now a strapping lad working with a lady in Taranaki.
Their current project is 'Vincent' a male Labrador. He will live with them for the next
year wearing his training red-coat and will accompany the family to the vineyard,
supermarket, on trains, planes, boats, in fact just about anywhere and everywhere. This
will prepare him for his working life as a guide dog. When he leaves the about May 2008 he
will commence 6 intense months of training before being carefully matched to a blind or
sight impaired person.
