Each Blind dog puppy that stays with Phil and Sue lives with them for approximately a year. The puppy wears a training red-coat and will accompany the family to the vineyard, supermarket, on trains, planes, boats, in fact just about anywhere and everywhere. This will prepare him for his working life as a guide dog. When he leaves he will commence 6 intense months of training before being carefully matched to a blind or sight impaired person.
Lake Chalice Wines supports principal guide dog sponsor Bayleys 'Taste of Wine Festival and Auction'.
