We are excited to announce that the 2022 Raptor Sauvignon Blanc has been named number one in the latest Cuisine Sauvignon Blanc tastings of International and New Zealand Sauvignon Blancs.

With numerous other Gold medals and accolades associated to The Raptor, this is another great accomplishment for our Winemaker Chloe Gabrielsen and the whole team at Lake Chalice.

Making The Raptor Sauvignon Blanc:

Lake Chalice Winemaker Chloe targeted particular small parcels of unique fruit, from the renowned Dillons point area. A limited release expression consisting of small parcels of fruit from Dillons Point in Marlborough. This Sauvignon Blanc is a rich and elegant wine, showing impressive weight and complexity.

Showing intensely perfumed with white stone fruits, salty minerality and passionfruit notes. A palate of generous and full, layered with crunchy greens, mango, passionfruit and pomegranate, this wine is also underpinned by salt and mineral notes with a concentrated long finish.

This wine is a truly unique and very special drop and has now been recognised with such high regard on both the national and international stage, and we couldn’t be more proud. Congratulations to Chloe and the rest of the Lake Chalice team.
