The fruit for this wine is sourced from selected vineyards between Marlborough’s Awatere and Wairau Valleys. A core blend of two diverse vineyards harvested with elements of whole bunch berries for enhanced aromatics. Matured in French oak and undergoing malolactic fermentation for a silky texture.

Palate & Aroma: Purfumed dark forest berries with sandalwood and cedar notes. Fresh and bright palate with bold red plums and a lasting finish of dried sage and subtle warm oak.




Harvested: Between 7th – 28th April 2017
Bottled: February 2018
Winemaker: Chloe Gabrielsen
Brix at harvest: Average 22.3
Alcohol: 13%
Residual sugar: 0.4g/L
