Lake Chalice 'The Nest' Marlborough Chardonnay 2018

Tasting Notes

The fruit for this wine is harvested from vineyards across the Wairau and lower Waihopai Valley’s in Marlborough. Machine harvested in the cool of the night in order to retain fresh fruit character. Pressed off with minimal skin contact before fermented in a mix of both stainless steel and select oak casks.

Palate & Aroma: Ripe stone fruit with hints of warm spice on the nose.  The palate is softly textured with layers of ripe stone fruit and melon and shows a freshness with subtle hazelnut undertones.
