Tasting Notes

The entire fruit for this wine was harvested from the clay rich soils of Marlborough’s southern valleys. All grapes were crushed and pressed immediately after harvest before undergoing cool fermentation. Components of French oak fermentation delivers a further complexity and texture.

Palate & Aroma: Fresh green apples and cherry blossom on the nose followed by a fruit-forward palate of fresh cut apples generously weighted with Taylor’s gold pear and a lingering finish.
