Tasting Notes

The majority of fruit for this wine was harvested from the mature vines in our silt rich Talon Block, located in the Dillons Point area of Marlborough's eastern Wairau Valley. Harvested at a lower brix and cool fermented in stainless steel to deliver a lower alcohol wine without compromising on flavour.

Palate & Aroma: Gooseberry, fresh lemon zest with herbal notes on the nose followed by crisp ripe citrus underpinned with blackcurrant and Granny Smith apples.
